Fundraisers - Parkinson Canada SuperWalk
If you are excited to resume in-person volunteering within the local Kingston community, look no further! QPK is pleased to announce that the Parkinson Canada SuperWalk will be back in person at Lake Ontario Park on Saturday, September 10, 2022. This is a great opportunity to not only fundraise for Parkinson's Disease, but also to support and befriend the members of the Kingston Parkinson community. Please email us at qpk@clubs.queensu.ca for more details and if you are interested in volunteering. For more information regarding SuperWalk, please visit the SuperWalk website.
Queen's University Parkinson's disease research
PAID RESEARCH OPPORTUNITY!
The Queen’s Eye Movement Lab is recruiting healthy adults aged 50-85 (inclusive) for a study on eye movements and how they might be affected by neurological disease.
Study participants will be asked to complete some simple questionnaires and perform two eye-tracking tasks, which all together would last approximately 60-120 minutes. Participants will receive $20/hr dispersed through each session and all study visits will take place in Kingston, Ontario at Hôtel Dieu Hospital.
If you have any questions or want to participate, please email eyetracking@queensu.ca. This study is available to view on the Parkinson Canada website here.
QPK hires team/general members at the start of both Queen's semesters. Check back around September and January for more information.
